What is Partnership
Supportability and Inquiry are complementary and mutually reinforcing
aspects of an empowering life process. For example, management from support
versus criticism and reprimand produces employees who are much more willing
to communicate openly and be accountable. Results Management provides
an environment of non-judgment and support. In this environment, people
are much more likely to reach out for assistance, coaching or feedback,
rather than hide out or pretend nothing is wrong when they have a problem
or get stuck.
When breakdowns do occur, Results Management shifts the conversation
from blame and fault to an inquiry about what kind of strategy is needed
to produce the result.
